No more human sacrifice among nations

Author’s note – reintroducing the scenario sketch format: In Summer 2005, I developed the scenario sketch in a chapter for a compendium book project within the United States space exploration advocacy community. In part, our group was appealing to a general global public audience based on the legacy of NASA’s Apollo program (1962-1972).¹

A scenario sketch minus cartoon images differs from a scenario or typical storyboard in that it briefly encompasses periods of time from the past into the future. This approach borrows from the alternative history genre except that history or “ourstory” remains fixed and trajectories into the near and midterm alternatives futures take both plausible dystopian and utopian courses. The emphasis in a written scenario sketch is to outline divergent realities rather than present challenges for an organization to overcome, yielding “success” in maintaining a preexisting dysfunctional norm. My use of utopia here remains true to the utopian tradition in literature where utopias are used to critique a current regime at different points in time.²

Below, I use the scenario sketch to present two opposing-emerging realities in a way that readers can take their own steps to rehabilitate the human endeavor. Homages to Linus Pauling’s No More War (1958)³ and Hans J. Morganthau’s Politics Among Nations: The Struggle for Power and Peace (1948)⁴ are encapsulated within the title of this post.

Working definition of human sacrifice for this post: Mortal and non-mortal termination or stalling of human life potential through political and economic hierarchy.

Scenario Sketch 1: Greater and Greater (1994-2265)

Throughout 2023, the ghosts of Rwanda 1994 returned to Gaza, Palestine,⁵ though greater numbers of Africans had been suffering recent genocides in Sudan and the Congo since June 2023⁶ and 1996⁷ respectively along with about 75 other genocides, potential genocides and mass killings taking place since 2021.⁸ Ukrainian conscripts had been kidnapped off streets and roads since February 2022⁹ to be sacrificed across rural battlefields as symbolic fertilizer for continued power harvest, primarily among Ukrainian and United States oligarchs.¹⁰

By 2040, Greater Israel¹¹ had been established from the Nile to the Euphrates and the Bosporus to the Persian Gulf. By 2027, the word Palestine; spoken, written, texted or perceived in thought by artificial intelligence pioneered in Chinese and U.S. universities was cause for induced life expiration across the world within the hour. Ever-hovering autonomous quadcopters are dedicated for routine removal of antisemites by the Earth-Mars Company of which Greater Israeli innovation is a main driver.

By 2056, the United States had fallen to the world’s 84th most prosperous nation between Mexico and Columbia¹² and had transformed its military into a natural disaster mitigation and recovery service for itself and the world, including space-based asteroid and comet defense capability.¹³ In addition to its automated rare Earth mining, Africa’s desertification was reversed through geoengineering which provided needed farmland through artificial soil rejuvenation,¹⁴ and corporate only golf courses for the Chinese and non-Chinese Asian human majority. By 2070, Asian-Africans became the third most populous human subset.

India codified the caste system¹⁵ across all non-Chinese Asia which it had culturally assimilated by 2108 while mutually containing warfare with China to tactical nuclear weapons, accepted by intuitive soldiers on both sides as part of human population control under the historic-philosophical Law of Paul Ehrlich.¹⁶ Along with their subordinate robotic soldier platforms, each human to human combatant fought to exterminate as many rival Chinese or non-Chinese Asians as possible from each point of view in the struggle to dominate the human gene pool for eventual expression across the Milky Way and beyond.

By 2265, all human groups large and small worshiped Zionist Jews of Greater Israel as the model of human supremacy against which their relative supremacy was measured. Anti-Zionist Jews were not killed by Zionist Jews but rather sterilized and displayed online as a variety of antitheses of human beings worthy of life.¹⁷ The holocaust of 1941-45 was finally redeemed by Zionists of all races worldwide through their support of the 2023-25 Human Revival when civilization purged non-Zionist ideology and its human vessels from Earth. This victory paved the way for only humans with manipulative instincts to become a multi-planetary species. This subset of human beings, while never fully appreciated by the other envious subsets were now able to fully appreciate themselves, unchallenged by moral distractions in physical form.

Scenario Sketch 2: Flexible Endurance (1957-2151)

Humans slowly created a solar system civilization from the best of all human traditions. The ethos for this cultural synergy owed its adoption in part to the universal nature of Judaism as opposed to provincial-supremacist Zionism, boosted by even more radical-dedicated Christian Zionism (Rapturism). By 2110, Jewish people everywhere freed themselves and other communities such as Rapturist dependents from the supremacist state ideology of Zionism and eventually the parallel structure of the nation-state system itself. Sovereignty was transferred to more fluid, inclusive and enduring entities called cultural bioregions – about 12 each across the 1) Asia-Pacific, 2) Americas and 3) Africa-Europe – totaling a workable network of 36 synergistic groupings.¹⁸ Ever since Zionism emerged in the 19th century, there was a tradition among Jewish people that creating Israel was a bad idea, primarily because it made a provincial appeal rather than a universal appeal, universal human interconnection being the central idea and gift to the world from Judaism.¹⁹

By 2014,²⁰ Zionism was allowed by the nation-state system to slow and then reverse the all too slow progress of the human endeavor, analogous to unfortunate physical building projects that stall for a variety of reasons, sacrificing human effort of builders and aspirations of tenants into emptied uses of limited lifetimes. However, by 2032, due to a wider paradigmatic reality change due in part to 2023-25 remembrance, humans across Earth emotionally resolved a festering root issue of the Russian Empire’s pogroms of Jews from 1881-82 and 1903-06²¹ and Nazi Germany’s murder of European Jews, black people in Germany, partisans, dissenters, gay men, bisexual men, men accused of homosexuality in Germany, Jehovah’s Witnesses, people with disabilities, Poles, Roma, “asocials,” “professional criminals” and Soviet prisoners of war between 1941-45.²²

In 2025, Zionist Israel was legally dissolved in the Knesset after unilateral non-recognition by all nations except for the United States, Nauru, Marshall Islands and Micronesia. In the court of world opinion, Zionist Israel was declared guilty since November 1947 of holocaust, genocide and ethnic cleansing. Equally, as the nation-state system had been unwilling and/or incapable from 2023-25 of preventing Zionism from committing the greatest of crimes against Palestinians, it too was declared illegitimate as a structure of power by a clear majority of civilization, although informally online.

During the 2025-26 academic year, hackers from across the world disabled nation-state control of information online through private entities, replacing services and maintaining infrastructure safety with provisional systems to which they held control through encryption. All militaries were rendered useless by unidentifiable hacker control of their satellites and ground segments.²³ Those who took control of all global integrated systems turned out to be unemployed and underemployed university students and graduates, independent of whether they had been deported and/or suspended for their support of Palestine in 2023-25. While this cadre took the affront to free speech personally, they dispassionately corrected the error of the global power elite in the same manner as showing elderly relatives how to move a cursor.

Throughout the 2026-27 academic year, still during the Hacker Interregnum of 2025-27, universities worldwide began a non-authoritarian process of positive-synergistic human political and economic mobilization around all-disciplinary space exploration, universally defined for anyone who wished to join. Those who did not join were also given best possible food in practical abundance, given smart houses to optimize restorative sleep and given preventive individualized health plans but were ignored as temporarily or permanently inconsequential to the human endeavor. Instead of a global constitutional convention or founding of a new global institution on the models of Philadelphia 1787 and San Francisco 1945, this school year period amplified the positive side of all humans’ natures without over focusing on the negative side of a very few humans’ natures. After 2027 and through 2151, humans were not governed, self-governed (anarchic) or in chaotic darkness but simply members of a huge self-organizing team system, well on their way to becoming a galactic civilization.
